PARISH NOTICES
SUNDAY EVENING LENTEN LITURGY this Sunday 21st March will be at St Edmund Campion Church. The final Sunday Lenten Liturgy will be on Palm Sunday 28th March at
St Joseph’s – both at 6.00pm. STATIONS OF THE CROSS – Wednesday at 7.30pm at St Elizabeth’s and Thursday at 7.30pm at
St Joseph’s. At 9.30am on Good Friday for children.
UCM - On Tuesday 23rd March there will be Stations of the Cross at St Elizabeth’s at 7.30pm followed by pizzas and wine next door. If anyone would like a lift please be in car park by 7.00pm but please telephone Pat Cairney on 01628 523 067 to let her know.
THE CATENIANS: The March meeting of
Maidenhead Circle will take place in the Parish Centre on Wednesday 24th March commencing at 7.30 p.m.
STATIONS OF THE CROSS: 'WALK WITH ME', a CAFOD Presentation of the Stations of the Cross on Thursday 25th March at 7.30pm (The Feast of the Annunciation) at
St Joseph's.
LENTEN PROJECT - TALENTS MAKE TREASURES: It is encouraging that many parishioners are being creative with their treasures. We have had £1 increased to £105, £5 increased to £270, and £88 raised by the sale of pancakes. Well done. Please continue to support these efforts. Theresa and Josephine will be selling Indian snacks on Sunday 28th March after the 10.45am Mass. If you need publicity for your project please contact the office. There’s a display on the Youth notice board in the parish centre corridor.

LENT RETREAT: Saturday, 27th March from 10.30am to 3.00pm to take place at

MEMORIAL MASS: The Cremation Service for John Messing took place last Wednesday. There will be a Memorial Mass for John on Saturday 17th April at 10.00am.
SPECIAL MINISTERS OF THE EUCHARIST: rota for April/May/June is available from the Sacristy – while you’re there, please put your name on the list if you can serve at one of the Easter Triduum services. Alternatively, email the parish office with your preference.

CONFIRMATION 2010: The Sacrament of Confirmation will take place on Friday 1st October at 7.00pm at
St Joseph’s. If you are currently in Year 8 or above and would like to join in this year's Confirmation programme, please complete an application form (at both ends of the Church) and return to the Presbytery letterbox in an envelope marked 'Confirmation', as soon as possible. The programme will start after Easter. CATECHISTS needed to help with the Confirmation programme. If you can help in any way, please contact Fr Tom.
OFFERTORY COLLECTION last weekend was £1,163.50. Second collection for the Lenten Project was £393.91 plus anonymous donations of £500. Thank you. Second collection this weekend is for the Lenten Project. There are still some Offertory envelopes waiting to be collected from the Repository.
SAINSBURY'S AND TESCO VOUCHERS: St Mary's School is collecting these vouchers - please put any you can spare in the box at the back of the church. Also any ‘Advertiser Cash for Schools’ vouchers and any others are more than welcome. Thank you.

THE MILL HILL MISSIONARIES ANNUAL NOVENA TO ST JOSEPH: The 6.30pm and 10.45am Masses this weekend will be Novena Masses. The Novena continues into this coming week and Mass will be celebrated at 7.30pm each weekday evening at St Joseph’s - up to and including Thursday 18th March. All welcome. There will be no 10.00am Mass on the Novena days.

UCM: The next meeting of the UCM will be on Tuesday 9th March at 7.45pm in the Bar Area. There will be a chance to buy chocolates from Andrea Frate from Chocoholics. The positions of Treasurer and Secretary for the coming year have still to be filled.

St Joseph’s from Wednesday 10th March to Thursday 18th March (except Saturday at 6.30pm and Sunday at 10.45am). All welcome. There will be no 10.00am Mass on the Novena days, except for Saturday 13th.

The Service starts at 10.00am and will be followed by refreshments. Everyone is welcome so we hope you will come to support and enjoy the service.

Over the past 50 years, more than £65 million has been raised by ordinary people on Fast Days, transforming the lives of thousands across the world. Please take an envelope this weekend and see what you can donate by giving up something on Fast Day, and return it next weekend.
