There is an excellent musical feeling in St Elizabeth's.  Everyone enjoys the singing.

Congregations change constantly, but generally ours like and enjoy the singing.  They naturally prefer hymns which are known to them, but since we had a wonderful set of hymn books, as well as a very nice new organ, which we were all delighted to have.  The congregation is happy to have good new ones introduced from time to time.

In addition to that, we have started to sing the Latin MISA DE ANGELIS.  To begin with we sing just the KYRIE and GLORIA.  When the congregation feels happy with the result, we will add the CREDO and the AGNUS DEI.

I think that the congregation likes the hymns and is willing and keen to participate in new musical ventures, as long as the music is good.  I must say that after the many years I have been playing in our Church, I like to have the parishioners' input and I enjoy their participation and suggestions for special hymns.
